2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR APPLICATIONS
Families may apply now for the 2026-2027 school year. The deadline to be included in our admissions lottery for next school year is April 1 at 11:59 PM. If you need assistance with language translations, accessibility, or filling out the application, please email admissions@centralqueensacademy.org.

For families applying to Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade:
When submitting an application online, you will automatically be applying to both CQA I and CQA II.
SUBMIT A PAPER APPLICATION
You may also apply by downloading the application linked below, filling it out and returning it to CQA at 88-14 Justice Avenue, Elmhurst. Copies of the application can also be picked up at the front desk at that address.
For families applying to Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade:

2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR APPLICATIONS
If you would like to apply for the current 2025-2026 school year, you may download and submit a paper application here. Paper applications may be returned to CQA at 88-14 Justice Avenue, Elmhurst. Copies of the application can also be picked up at the front desk at that address.
Applications will be added to our wait list for the current school year and we will notify families if a seat becomes available.
The lottery Process
CQA enrolls scholars by a lottery system. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year received before midnight on April 1, 2026 will be included in our lottery, which will take place in early April 2026. Applications received after the April 1 deadline will be added to our waitlist in the order in which they are received and families will be notified if a seat becomes available.
OPEN HOUSE DATES
Families applying for grades K-3 are invited to join us for an open house event at CQA at 88-14 Justice Avenue at the corner of 55th Avenue in Elmhurst. You will have an opportunity to tour CQA elementary school, meet our staff, and learn more about our school program.
