CQA II Elementary School
is opening in August 2024!

GRADES K AND 1 FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2024-2025

Because of CQA's history of successful results for our scholars, our authorizer, SUNY Charter Schools Institute, has granted us a second charter to open new schools.

CQA has over 11 years of experience operating high performing schools that meet the academic and social and emotional needs of our diverse student body. Our program helps scholars excel as students, individuals and community members. We are excited to offer more quality public school seats to our community and we are looking forward to adding more families to the CQA family! We are thrilled to welcome Shannon-Re Ismael, an experienced educator and school leader, to our team as the founding CQA II elementary school principal to lead our new school.

TIMELINE OF GRADES OFFERED

CQA II will open in August 2024 beginning with grades K and 1.

K, 1, 2 for the 2025-2026 school year
K, 1, 2, 3 for the 2026-2027 school year
K, 1, 2, 3, 4 for the 2027-2028 school year

Location

CQA II elementary school will be located right next door to CQA I, which is located at 88-14 Justice Avenue.
